It is probably the most well known solo card game. It has been reported to be the most commonly played computer game in recent history, possibly ranking higher than even Tetris.
Taking a standard card deck of playing cards without Jokers , deal one upturned card on the left of your playing area, then six downturned cards from left to right.
On top of the downturned cards, deal an upturned card on the left-most downturned pile, and downturned cards on the rest until all piles have an upturned card.
The four foundations are built up by suit from Ace to King, and the tableau piles can be built down by alternate colours, and partial or complete piles can be moved if they are built down by alternate colours also.
Any empty piles can be filled with a King or a pile of cards with a King at the top. Cards on the tableau need to be stacked by alternating color from high rank King to low rank Ace.
Empty spots on the tableau can be filled with a King of any suit. New Game Options How many cards to turn at once?

In each game of solitaire, there is a stockpile. You draw or turn cards from the stock pile which can be placed into either the foundation or the tableau for a more comprehensive tutorial see our guide on how to play solitaire.
In turn 1, you draw cards one at a time from the stockpile, as the name suggests. Instead of drawing 1 card from the stockpile at a time, you can draw 3 cards at a time.
This is called turn 3. Of those three cards that have been turned, you can only play the first of the three in that turn. If you can play the first of the three cards, then you can play the second, and then you can place the third.
And here is an example of turn 3, with three cards turned from the stockpile into the waste pile. If the King of Clubs can be played, then you can then try to play the Queen of Hearts.
With Turn 3, you can only potentially place every third card into the game. This means your options are more limited, whereas in turn 1, you have the opportunity to place each subsequent card from the stockpile into the game making it an easier form of the game.
Your chances of winning a turn 1 game is higher than turn 3. As you get better, try turn 3 to make the game more challenging.
